It’s time to pull together and make our annual fundraiser raise another success. In just over two weeks CORP will once again be hosting the 12 Hours of Blue mound. If you, in any possible way, can help us out on 8/14 it would be VERY much appreciated. Take a look at the spreadsheet link below to see the slots we need to fill. It ends up being a little bit of work and a whole lot of fun. Bring a friend, bring a family member, but most importantly sign yourself up to help us out!
Calling all volunteers! With three road crossings again in this year’s Blue Mound race we have a large demand for volunteers. It’s a very easy job that you can do sitting down. Click the link below to view the schedule. Pick a time and shoot me a PM with your preferred time slot. Bring a cooler and some chairs and help us keep the racers safe. We are not stopping cars - just warning/reminding riders that they need to stop for traffic. The Capital Off Road Pathfinders will be providing free food and beverage (including some tasty local beer) to all volunteers. Thanks!
If you are not a registered forum user feel free to shoot an e-mail to info@madcitydirt.org and we’ll get you taken care of!

The meeting agenda for July is a little thin so let’s put the business crap aside and ride our bikes.
This Thursday we’ll be tearing up the great trails at Cam-Rock starting at 6pm. Plan on meeting at the CR-III shelter for a lap or three of frollicking fun. We’ve seen 20 people a month at our meetings lately so I’d expect even more to show up for something as fun as riding our bikes!
There are grills available at the shelter so go ahead and throw in something to grill. Plan on tosisng in a cold six pack to pass around and share as well.
It’s riding season…..We’ll see you on the trails!

Well, technically it’s been open for a little while. But this Saturday is the official dedication and opening of the Middleton Bike Park (at Pleasant View Golf Course), coinciding with the Middleton Big Event. There are a number of cool things going on in Middleton on Saturday (bike demos, helicopter tours, boat rides) and one of them is the grand opening of the bike trails. The dedication happens at Firemans Park @ 11 am. Riders will be heading to Pleasant View in the afternoon for food, libations, and maybe even a little enjoyment of the new park. There will probably be a pump track time trial or chainless race at some point…
