Last Official 2010 Work Day for Blue Mound Saturday May 22nd

Published by Bcbear under Uncategorized

Meet at the garage parking lot at 8AM.

After you enter the park, go left-left-right.

We’re working on Pokerville again. I don’t have anything to give away, except maybe a tasty brew if you can stay late.  There will be no stunts built, but we’re starting the descent into a large ravine with loads of rocks. It could be interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Hope to see you there!

Blue Mound Work Day Saturday May 8th

Published by Bcbear under Uncategorized

Meet at the park garage at 8AM. We’re getting rain on Thursday and Friday (and possibly Saturday too), so it’s going to be wet out there. Dress appropriately. The work day will go on unless the weather is dangerous. I define “dangerous” as heavy rain, lightning, or high winds.

Take the first two left turns after you enter the park, then turn right at the park office.

We will be working on the Pokerville loop. If you are late, just park at the garage, and walk out the back way (past the trash collection area for the campground). Take the first left, which is the Military Ridge connector trail, and we will be working on the single track just past the entry kiosk.
